PDF Workflow Agent at a glance

Coming soon · PDF Workflow Agent is an AI tool that does several PDF jobs from one plain-language request, such as merging files, compressing them and adding page numbers. It shows a step-by-step plan, you confirm it, and each step runs with its usual tool where it normally runs, which for most steps is your device.

Limits · Files up to 50 MB each, 1 GB with Pro · Any number of files at a time · Part of Pro and the 7-Day Pass, which open soon

How to use PDF Workflow Agent

  1. Add files and ask

Choose your PDFs, then type what you want, such as merge these, compress under 10 MB and add page numbers.

  2. Check the plan

The agent lists each step in order. Read it over and confirm only when it matches what you want.

  3. Run and save

Each step runs with its usual tool, most of them on your device. Download the finished file when it's done.

What PDF Workflow Agent does

PDF automation means doing several PDF jobs in one go, such as merging files, shrinking them under a size limit and adding page numbers. Wispdf's PDF Workflow Agent turns a plain-language request into a step-by-step plan. You confirm the plan, then each step runs with its usual tool, in the place it normally runs, which for most steps is your own device.

People use it to

  • Merge a month of receipts and compress them under 10 MB for an expense claim
  • Combine case exhibits, add page numbers and protect the bundle with a password
  • Join chapter drafts, number the pages and shrink the file for a print shop

What's included

A plan comes first

You see every step in order, and nothing runs until you confirm it.

Same place as usual

Each step runs where its tool normally runs. Most run on your device, so those files never leave it.

Passwords skip the AI

If a step needs a password, you type it straight into that tool. It never goes to the AI.

Clear pricing

Planning uses 1 credit. Each step keeps its usual price, so free tools stay free.

Where your file goes

To make the plan, we send your request and extracted text to our AI model, not your files, and that text is never used to train models. Steps that run on your device stay there, chats without an account are deleted after 24 hours, and account holders choose how long theirs are kept.

Questions about PDF Workflow Agent

Is the PDF Workflow Agent free?
The PDF Workflow Agent is part of Pro and the 7-Day Pass, and it uses AI credits. Planning a job uses 1 credit, and Pro includes 1,500 credits a month. After that, each step follows its usual pricing, so free on-device tools stay free. Try Pro free for 7 days, no card needed.
Do my files get uploaded to the AI?
No. The PDF Workflow Agent sends your request and extracted text to our AI model, never the files themselves, and that text is never used to train models. Each step runs where it normally would, which is your device for most. A step on our servers encrypts the file in transit and deletes it within an hour.
What can I ask the PDF Workflow Agent to do?
Describe the job the way you'd say it to a colleague, such as merge these, compress under 10 MB and add page numbers. The PDF Workflow Agent breaks that into steps using Wispdf's regular tools and shows you the plan. Nothing runs until you confirm, so you can check the order of the steps first.
What happens if a step needs a password?
Passwords never go to the AI. When a PDF Workflow Agent step needs one, for example to open a locked file or to protect the finished one, you type it straight into that tool. The AI only plans the steps, so it never sees the password you enter.
Does the agent work on a phone or a Mac?
Yes. The PDF Workflow Agent runs in any modern browser on Windows, Mac, Linux, iPhone, iPad, Android and Chromebook, with nothing to install. Steps that run on your device use its memory, so very large jobs go more comfortably on a computer, which handles around 1 GB of PDFs, than on a phone.
What if the plan isn't what I meant?
Don't confirm it. The PDF Workflow Agent shows the full plan before any step runs, so you can catch a wrong order or a missing step. Ask again with more detail, like the exact size limit or which pages to number, and you'll get a new plan. Each plan uses 1 credit.
