What AI Study Set does

Making a study set from a PDF means turning course notes or readings into material you can review, such as notes, flashcards and practice questions. Wispdf's AI Study Set reads the text of your PDF and creates study notes, flashcards and practice quizzes. Each item links to the page it came from, and you can export the whole set as CSV or PDF.

People use it to

Turn a semester of lecture slides into flashcards the week before finals
Quiz yourself on a certification manual during your commute
Help your teenager review a history chapter with practice questions

What's included

Three ways to study

Study notes to read, flashcards for recall and practice quizzes to test yourself.

Linked to the page

Every note, card and question links to the page it came from, so you can check the source.

Export CSV or PDF

Save a CSV to open in a spreadsheet or another app, or a PDF to print and read anywhere.

Sends text, not files

Our AI model gets the extracted text of your PDF, never the file, and never trains on it.

Where your file goes

AI Study Set sends the text it extracts from your notes to our AI model, never the file itself, and that text is never used to train models. If you study without an account, chats are deleted after 24 hours, while account holders decide how long theirs are kept.

Questions about AI Study Set

Is AI Study Set free to use?

AI Study Set runs on AI credits. Without an account you get 1 AI task a day. A free account gives you 30 credits a day, and Pro includes 1,500 a month for heavier study weeks. You don't need to sign up to try it, so you can see how a study set looks before you decide.

Does my PDF get uploaded?

Not the file. AI Study Set extracts the text from your PDF and sends that text to our AI model to write your notes, cards and questions. The text is never used to train models. Without an account, chats are deleted after 24 hours, and with an account you choose how long they're kept.

How do I turn my lecture notes into flashcards?

Open AI Study Set and choose the PDF with your lecture notes or slides. It creates flashcards along with study notes and practice quizzes, and each one links to the page it came from. Read through the cards, check any that look off against the original page, then export them as CSV or PDF.

Can I trust the answers on the flashcards?

Use them as a study aid and check anything that matters. AI Study Set links every card and question to the page it came from, so you can confirm it against your notes. The AI can miss nuance or word something oddly, especially in dense or messy notes, and your course material is always the final word.

Can I use AI Study Set on my phone?

Yes. AI Study Set works in any modern browser on iPhone, iPad, Android, Chromebook, Windows, Mac and Linux, with no app to download. If you'd like a copy to review away from the browser, export your set as a PDF and read it on whatever device you have with you.

How is AI Study Set different from the AI PDF Summarizer?

AI PDF Summarizer gives you a summary in four lengths, with each point linked to its page. AI Study Set is built for revision: alongside study notes, it makes flashcards and practice quizzes you can use to test yourself, and you can export the whole set as CSV or PDF.
